Hayden Collins targets concerns across the county

Hayden D Collins on the Pistol Range

There was a lot of ammunition at the second Political Shoot-out Fundraiser – for lively conversations about Second Amendment rights, and the recently passed Senate bill 308 that amends the code related to carrying and possession of firearms. Friends and neighbors came to the Adairsville Sporting Range throughout the day to participate in this cross-fire with Hayden Collins, as well as taking part in the shooting competitions. Hayden’s sons also had an opportunity for a training session in pistol safety and pistol shooting from Intelli-Quest Training Academy, which provided range safety for the event.

Congratulations to the winners: David Payne and Mike Smith and thank you to the sponsors for today’s event:

Reloading at the end of the day, Hayden and Sandra Collins headed over to a Meet the Candidate cookout at the Emerald subdivision. There were even some residents attending from the city of White as well, among the many Bartow County residents enjoying hot dogs and hamburgers with just-harvested onions and freshly-pickled vegetables from the gardens, and brownies. Conversations highlighted residents’ concerns about immigration issues, as well as local law enforcement support in this outlying part of the district. The Collins family thanks Tammy Valmus for hosting tonight’s event, and everyone for attending.

Talking with members of the community at these events goes both ways – Hayden is accessible to discuss matters that concern Bartow County residents, and these conversations then shape the leadership for the community’s future. Beyond their impact here on home turf, Hayden Collins will redirect that impact to the state legislature, on behalf of District 15 and as an example for Georgia.
